§ How It Works

Activate. Distribute. Saturate.

Rainmaker® is a modular water-based protection system. Once activated, water is distributed across the sprinkler network, gradually saturating the roof and surrounding protection zone. Under normal operating conditions, effective saturation is reached in approximately 10 minutes.

§ Three Roles — One System

One roof system. Three jobs.

Rainmaker® is first and foremost a wildfire protection system — and the same ridge-mounted network earns its place year-round by cooling hot roofs and rinsing rooftop solar panels.

B.01

Wildfire Protection

Continuous roof saturation helps defend buildings against ember attack and radiant heat during wildfire emergencies.

B.02

Roof Temperature Reduction

During extreme heat, the system cools roof surfaces through evaporative cooling, helping reduce heat transfer into the building and improving indoor comfort.

B.03

Solar Panel Cleaning

The same sprinkler system rinses dust and debris from rooftop solar panels, improving efficiency and reducing maintenance.

01

Open the supply

Open the supply valve or start the water pump. The Rainmaker network pressurises immediately.

02

Water flows

Water flows through the modular Rainmaker® system, feeding every 6-metre section along the ridge with balanced pressure.

03

Roof saturates

The flexible sprinklers saturate the roof and surrounding protection zone. Effective saturation is reached in approximately 10 minutes.

04

Maintain flow

Maintain water flow until the wildfire threat has passed. Future automated activation may become available in later product releases.

§ Installation Options

Where the Rainmaker® can be installed.

The is a modular protection system. Individual 6-metre sections can be configured along roof ridges or exterior walls, on structures ranging from single homes to large commercial buildings.

Residential homes
Thatch roofs
Lodges
Farms & agricultural buildings
Factories & warehouses
Commercial & warehousing

Mounting positions include roof ridges and exterior walls, sized and zoned per property during site assessment.

§ Technical Requirements

Minimum operating water pressure.

The Rainmaker® is designed to operate with a minimum water pressure of 2 bar. If the available water pressure on site is below 2 bar, an appropriately sized inline pressure pump should be installed to achieve the required operating pressure.

Minimum operating pressure

2 bar

Required at the system inlet for correct sprinkler performance across the module network.

If below 2 bar

Inline pump

Install an appropriately sized inline pressure pump to raise supply pressure to the minimum operating requirement.
